SMEC building IDENTIFICATION SIGNAGE

 

Snowy Mountains Engineering Corporation is one of the world’s leading engineering and development consultancies with major projects throughout the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa. SMEC have recently moved their Brisbane city office to a new building in West End, Queensland. SMEC secured the naming rights for their newly occupied building and required 2 high level/visibility signs to de designed.

 

Andrew Watson Design has experience with high-level building identification signage (refer to CBRE & Watpac projects). SMEC requested that the globe from their logo be a part of the new signage design. Utilizing a manufacturing process called Flex Face, we designed the signage in accordance with the clients requests. 

 

Like all Andrew Watson Design projects, we considered the environmental impact of the design. We designed the frame to be constructed from fully recyclable aluminum and used LED technology to illuminate the signs.
