north queensland tourism awards trophies
The North Queensland Tourism Awards night is an event for the local tourist operators in the region to celebrate a year’s hard work. Andrew Watson Design sponsored the awards night in 2009 by providing the trophies for the event. We designed and handcrafted the trophies from recycled Queensland plywood and semi-transparent acrylics. The use of these materials reflected the clients branding but also provided a visual link to Queensland’s primary industries. With a 3-week time-line for design and manufacturing, Andrew Watson Design was able to deliver the trophies on time, on brief and within budget.
